Adam Spriggs became the first DEG associate to receive the exclusive designation of Salesforce MVP, as the 2017 MVPs were announced by Salesforce on September 18.

“I appreciate the honor and am excited for what it means for DEG and our partnership with Salesforce.”

– Adam Spriggs, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineering Team Lead at DEG

Spriggs, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineering Team Lead at DEG, is one of only 244 MVPs worldwide, and one of 28 new members—and 130 current members—of the Salesforce community to be selected or retained as an MVP by Salesforce this fall. MVPs are added twice a year.

Members are re-evaluated each year and must be nominated in order to be considered to the program that, according to Salesforce, “recognizes exceptional Trailblazers for their contributions to the Salesforce community.”

“I appreciate the honor and am excited for what it means for DEG and our partnership with Salesforce,” said Spriggs. “I’m looking forward to the opportunities it affords to better support the Marketing Cloud side of the Salesforce ecosystem.”

Along with Spriggs’ seven years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud technical integration experience, where he has worked on projects for more than 90 clients, he is Salesforce StackExchange’s top Marketing Cloud and AMPScript contributor and reviewer, is a Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, and is the co-organizer of the SFMC Developers Group.

Benefits of being a Salesforce MVP include an exclusive MVP certification and training plan, early access to products, features, and releases, special briefings with Salesforce’s Product and Marketing teams, and more. But more so, Spriggs will use his MVP status to provide greater engagement and documentation support for Marketing Cloud developers.

DEG is a 13-year Salesforce partner, a Gold Certified Salesforce Partner, and three-time Marketing Cloud Partner of the Year, boasting more than 60 Marketing Cloud resources with more than 30 certifications.
