SharePoint Saturday is returning to Kansas City January 10, and DEG is playing a major role in the event. SharePoint Saturdays, created by SPS Events, are free, one-day events in cities around the country offering sessions from top SharePoint professionals.
DEG is one of several companies sponsoring SharePoint Saturday Kansas City, held at Johnson County Community College’s Regnier Center, and Joe Cromer, DEG’s Director of Enterprise Collaboration, is part of a 15-speaker group leading sessions at the event. DEG’s own session, Designing and Building a High Engagement Social Intranet, will take place at 1 p.m. The talk includes discussion about working with a DEG-developed maturity model for implementing and sustaining a social intranet. The session includes real-world company examples and lessons learned when attempting to implement and engage users.
After the sessions, DEG and Smarter SharePoint KC User Group are sponsoring SharePint, a social event at Barley’s (11924 W. 119th Street) for those in attendance to connect and network.
