DEG, specializing in digital marketing, commerce, and collaboration strategies, has hired Jen Forrest as the company’s Director of Social Media.

Forrest will lead social media strategy, campaign execution, and channel and content management for DEG. Forrest comes to DEG from GolinHarris Chicago, where she spent the last six years working her way up to Senior Digital Manager.
During her career, Forrest has developed, managed, and executed award-winning social and digital media strategy across the business landscape, working on consumer, corporate, and healthcare accounts. These accounts include McDonalds, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Sargento, Nestle Purina, Constellation Brands, and Dow Chemical. Forrest’s work earned multiple awards. The U.S. launch of Magnum Ice Cream won Digital Campaign of the Year awards in 2011 from PRWeek and The Holmes Report.

Forrest graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from DePaul University. Along with social media, her experience has included work in public relations, website design and development, SEM/SEO practices, research analytics, implementation, and media buying.
